Again, i've been drawn to the childlike and playful ways of design...but you cannot resist these little fellas.

Artsy
Francoise Nielly's graphic use of thick bold paint using trowels has great visual impact.
A film on her website displays how effortless this technique is for her.

Chess
Jaime Hayon has produced 'The Tournament', which is currently installed between the fountains at Trafalgar Square.
A mad hatter event with the player's (members of the public) towering stage with a sense of regality. Sitting high above the crowds, they direct the manoeuvring of dwarfing chess pieces, done so by the cotton gloved festival volunteers.

From Fashion To Interiors
Wallpapers designed by Vivenne Westwood for Cole & Son.
I prefer the more simple graphics, but it wouldn't be Westwood without some tartan.

I Love Lula!
(cute snapshot from footage posted on the new website. A small plinth in the middle of a public park, great little message).
Happiest day ever!
Lula magazine have finally updated the website, along with the release of the latest issue (9).
This is my dream magazine.
Wrapping Up Warm
I played dress up a few months ago with my Mum's old mink coat and rabbit fur hat; now loving the fur. (Taboo, i know).

Zed Nesti
I'm not much of a art enthusiast, but i love Zed's thick laying of paint, it creates so much depth to the image.
Ah, i wish i had the patience for painting (and raw talent).

Christopher Kane AW09 / Topshop
Oxford Circus here i come. Fortunately a much needed shopping trip is coinciding with the Christopher Kane launch this Friday 18th September.
His third consecutive AW collection for Topshop isn't going to disappoint. I've already picked out my faves from the 39 pieces available.
(I saw this ad for the first time at the Electric Cinema, Notting Hill, when going to see The September Issue. A very much fashion inspiring day.)

The September Issue
I adore this film.
You have to admire the ruthless manner of Anna Wintours -RIGHT- (Editor-in-chief, Vogue US) with the side act of Grace Coddington -LEFT- (Creative Director)..
You cannot help but laugh and enjoy this crazy bubble, that is the fashion industry.

Alice in Waterland
A fantastic interpretation of the classic children's story, created by specialist photographer, Elena Kalis's, underwater imagination.

Dear oh dear Annie
Whilst she gets paid 7 figures for her work, Annie Leibovitz is in debt like the rest of us.
Today is the deadline for a $24 million (£16 million) loan repayment, or she risks losing numerous properties, along with negatives and rights to earlier works.
